Living Words
A Series on Hearing and Living the Bible God’s Way
God doesn’t just speak for us to know something — He speaks for us to live. From creation in Genesis to Jesus, the Word made flesh, everything God does flows from His Living Word.
This series is about learning to hear with the heart, the way Hebrew thought makes concrete what often feels abstract. Each word we’ll study, like shama (hear and obey), is an invitation into relationship, intimacy, and real-life application.
I’m not writing just to explain, but to invite you into the journey with me: learning how to take God’s Living Words and let them shape how we love, trust, and obey Him in our everyday lives.

The author reflects on their spiritual journey initiated by a worship event. They explore the concept of “shama,” meaning to hear and respond actively to God’s word, contrasting it with legalism. True obedience is framed as a loving relationship with God, emphasizing action and connection over mere rule-following.
